Many homes already dim the lights in the evening and lower the music at night. Scent is the one layer that still has to be managed by hand.
The promise of a connected home is that it adapts without asking. In practice, many smart devices ask a great deal: schedules to set, scenes to configure, apps to check.
Scent works best when it is not something you think about. It should arrive before you need it and step back when you do not.
Personal, not programmed
Aurora’s long-term vision is to understand evening routines and connect those insights with the environment, including scent. This remains a direction under development, rather than a currently available adaptive feature.
Nothing to configure, nothing to remember.
That is the difference between an automated device and an adaptive one. A timer repeats. A rhythm responds.
