The Psychology of Coming Home

There is a moment, just inside the door, when the day starts to fall away. Often we could not say exactly why it happens.

Home is recognised through many small signals at once: the sound of a door, the light in a hallway, the air in a room. When they are familiar, we settle.

Scent is one of the quietest of those signals, and one of the most personal. A consistent scent at the end of the day can become part of the ritual of arriving.

A room that is ready

Aurora’s diffuser concept explores simple scent routines at a low, considered intensity. This is part of the hardware vision, currently in development.

Your room is ready for the night.
